There’s a role for everyone: help runners set off from the start, cheer them through Queenstown’s airfield, slice fruit at aid stations, or head into the bush as a course marshal or sweep. However you get involved, you’ll be part of the team that brings this event to life.

No experience? No problem. We’ll give you all the info and gear you need, and you can even run one day and volunteer the next.

Volunteers are the backbone of DIVERGE. We couldn’t put on this event without them. As a thank you, every volunteer will receive unique DIVERGE Crew beanie, complimentary camping at Lake Burbury, discounts on DIVERGE merch and DIVERGE 2028 entries, plus food and beverage discounts.
