Introducing the DIVERGE Queenie Rogaine, named after the locals’ name for Queenstown. Runners/hikers registered in one of the Saturday events will be required to complete The Queenie Rogaine (minimum 3 checkpoints) in order to collect your bib.

Course description

Imagine rogaining crossed with a family-friendly treasure hunt. With a special Queenie Rogaine map, navigate your way through Queenstown’s streets and hidden corners, uncovering stories, art, surprises, and local treasures along the way.

This is a free event and open to everyone.

Runners registered in one of the Saturday events should complete The Queenie Rogaine (minimum 3 checkpoints) in order to collect your bib.

Additional info

  • Map collection begins at 3.30pm at The Hub.
  • The 4:00pm start is a mass start. If you don’t make it, no worries — you can start anytime from then until 6:00pm (when map collection closes).
  • Hike or run.
  • Allow at least 20 minutes (if hiking) to collect a minimum of 3 checkpoints and answer the question at each. Or spend a bit more time to explore more of Queenie and collect more checkpoints.
  • A completed Queenie Rogaine question card is required for bib pick up for the Saturday events.
  • Do it as a team with your support crew or other runners/hikers.
  • Finish at the Paragon Theatre event hub (Bib pick-up point for Saturday events).
  • You don’t need to be doing an event on Saturday to step on to the Queenie Rogaine.
